Not Your Typical Marketing Company
Company founder Ellen Cusato Messer has spent her career working with engineers and other technology professionals to translate technical concepts into marketing campaigns. Ellen worked at Nortel for 13 years in senior wireless product management and product marketing roles, leaving to do freelance marketing while raising children. She began working with technology and engineering companies, launching Messer Strategies in 2003. The company was rebranded as TechTalk Marketing in 2023 to better align with her technical marketing specialization.
Ellen holds a BBA in marketing (with product management specialization) from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Science in telecommunications from Southern Methodist University. This blend of marketing and technical education helps the TechTalk project team connect with clients on both the business and technology fronts to develop more effective strategies.

Helping to define what our company is and what to focus on. I get much more value than a flyer. The flyer (or whatever it might be) is the end result of a lot of thinking, discussions, and sometimes reconfiguring of the company.
Value you bring…
-Gets much more than marketing
-When we do a project, it gets me to think through things
-Sometimes making changes to our company structure.
-Understanding of technical terminology. It does not scare you.
